The festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated across the country today. Many Bollywoodstars took to social media to post their wishes for the festival celebrated to mark Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati's marriage.

Priyanka Chopra, who's away shooting for her TV show, posted, "Greetings for #Mahashivratri today. Lord Shiva..protector of life..may u protect us all, inspite of everything the world is dealing with.."
Madhuri Dixit-Nene took to Instagram and posted a picture of her standing next to an idol of Lord Shiva. She captioned it, "Har har Mahadev!"
